Kedarkantha situated in the Garhwal Himalayas, Uttarakhand.For the nature

catch an exclusive glance of flora & fauna in Himalayas one must pass
through the snaking trail to the 3,850m tall summit goes through Govind
National Park. With views of peaks like the Swargarohini, Banderpooch,
Black, and Ranglana, the highlight of the trail is undoubtedly sunsets against
the backdrop of impressive snow-capped mountains.

It starts with the amazing twisting squirrel like driving, with the most
scenic sights of the Garhwal as you pass through exotic locales of
Mussoorie, Barkot to finally arrive at the last motorable village Sankri,
13km inside Govind National Park. Twilight home stay in the quaint
village. Reporting venue is Dehradun Railway Station by 8 AM and you
will be notified with details of cab a day before your trek start day..!
185 Km drive from Dehradun The cab will be arranged at an
additional cost from Dehradun to Sankri and drop you back from
Sankri. This will cost approx. Rs. 2000/p Both way
Remote Lake, Pond, Pine and Oak Trees, Himalayan Backdrop.
Trekking from village Sankri towards Juda ka Talaab after having a
wholesome nutritious breakfast and some training for the trek. This
remote lake tucked away in the grandeur of the snow-capped
mountains is the ideal place to camp for the ever-changing scenes
bring alive the natural kaleidoscope with every change in light. Gaze
at stars and enjoy the twilight camping site or snowfall at Night .
Green Pastures, Wild flora, Undulating Meadows, Snow-capped
Mountains, Forest Trek. Next day starts with an aim to reach at the
base camp of Kedarkantha peak. It's the most enthralling trail with
finest stretches and leaves us behind with unforgettable experiences.
Trek through forest heavily occupied by pine and oak trees that give
these mountains its distinct charm. Arrive at an open meadow covers
with snow at the summit's base, set up camp for the night and good
night!
Gangotri and Yamunotri Ranges, Ascending and Descending Trek. It's
going to be a long day so healthy breakfast is a must. We shall be
ascending to the Kedarkantha peak (3,850m). The climb is steep but
worthwhile and one with rewarding views. Lunch will be against a
stunning backdrop of the Gangotri and Yamunotri ranges. Then our
descending trekking will be started towards Juda Ka taal and the
twilight camping will be there.
It's time to backpack to Sankri, along with open views of snow covered
mountains and down hill villages . And finally reach at Sankri in guest
house and we will provide you certificate of completion of trek . Then
we will depart in same cab you opt for sharing and drive back to
Dehradun and reach Dehradun by 8-9 pm on day 5. Here we say Good
Bye with keen to see you on any other treks or trip with us .
