Overview
Explore the mangroves and island backwaters of Kadamakkudy 🌴
Ever wanted to walk on water? Secret Routes SUP lets you stand up and glide across the calm backwaters of Kadamakkudy, a cluster of green islands a short drive from Kochi city.
Paddle on a stand-up paddleboard through quiet canals lined with mangroves, coconut palms and paddy fields, past traditional fishing nets and village life along the banks. There are no engines and no crowds, only the water, the birds and the open sky.
Sessions run for 2.5 hours in the early morning or late afternoon, when the water is calm and the light is at its best. A trained guide leads the group and gives you a short lesson before you start, so you don’t need any experience. Safety gear is provided and tea and snacks are served. We also take candid photos of you on the board, so you can focus on balancing and still get the pictures.
